
Strengthening Social Cohesion through Interculturality and the Fight Against Racism and Discrimination

The REVEIL project aims to promote intercultural coexistence in Luxembourg by celebrating diversity and strengthening mutual understanding, while actively combating racism and discrimination through:
- Train and advanced training sessions on key concepts of intercultural learning and the fight against racism and discrimination
- Train-the-trainer programs to ensure the long-term sustainability of the project
- Activities such as study visits and hands-on workshops to enhance the skills of local stakeholders and empower them to launch their own intercultural initiatives

Objectives for the Social, Youth, and Childcare Sectors
- 360 staff members from the social, youth, and childcare sectors trained in interculturality and empathy
- 180 staff members from the social, youth, and childcare sectors trained in combating racism and discrimination
- 12 staff members from the social, youth, and childcare sectors participated in a train-the-trainer program
- 160 staff members from the social, youth, and childcare sectors participated in exchange meetings
Objectives for the Public Sector
- 360 municipal staff trained in interculturality and empathy
- 180 municipal staff trained in combating racism and discrimination
- 12 municipal staff participated in a train-the-trainer program
- 12 municipal staff participated in study visits
- 160 municipal staff participated in exchange meetings
Training Offers
The REVEIL project is a four-year initiative (2025–2028), supported by the Ministry of Family Affairs, Solidarity, Living Together and Reception, and co-funded by the European Union’s Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund. It is implemented by the International Organization for Migration (IOM) Belgium and Luxembourg, the LISKO service of the Luxembourg Red Cross, and the Centre for Education and Dialogue Luxembourg (CED).
